Updates.... Fianlly!!!!

So its been awhile since I have updated, and a lot has happened in the past four months, there were weddings, baby showers, babies being born, birthdays, parties, just everyday changes in life, so this post might turn out to be quite long. I just feel I need to vent and get some things off my chest, and I feel the best place for me to do that is here, or go running, and since running isn’t an option right now, this will have to do. (Please forgive me if I get the events and dates mixed up I can hardly remember what I did last week let alone four months ago. )(I will put a separate post for just pics to go with the events.)

April- April was very packed with things going on with the family. First was Melody’s baby shower for baby Knolan. It turned out great, the house looked amazing, my mom and I hosted it for her, and we had a great turn out. Got to meet some new people, got to see some people we hardly ever get to see. While her family was not able to make it, she had ours there to support her on one of her special days, all in all it was a success. She got tons of great gifts for the baby. The second weekend in April was Easter, we had a big get together at my grandparents with most of the family who lives here, and we had some outta town guests Molly and Datra. The kids had a big Easter egg hunt, and that was so fun to watch, it reminded me of when I was a little kid. Man how time flies. The third weekend in April, April 18, 2009 to be exact was a very special day for my cousin, and our family. This was the day he got married to the love of his life, and we welcomed in another person to out family. The wedding was so beautiful very unique but very classy and beautiful, especially for how much crap it got talked about it, it was simply stunning. The reception was at Shannon’s parents house where, they had a Marachi band playing, and it catered the food was delicious, the music was beautiful, and everything was just perfect for them on their special day. Later that night everyone well most of the older cousins, and friends of the couple went out to Flicka’s in Scottsdale, its pretty much like a Dos Gringos, but we all partied the night away with the newly wed couple. There was no bouquet toss, but I was literally handed the bouquet guess my family really wants me to get married… haha! We had a greatttt time, and some def funny and good memories. Mandy even found a “boyfriend” for the night hahah jk, but that guy was a riot…I want to say Carrie’s confirmation was in April too, but I cant remember. Sorry Carrie I know its an important day, but im totally spacing on the day, but we were all very proud of her for making that step in her religious journey. Well I believe that was everything in April, im sure I forgot something as we always have a million things going with the thousand people in my family. So if I forgot something my apologies.

May- Finally Knolan is born yayyyyyyyyy!!! He was born on May 6, 2009. He was such an adorable little baby, I was so blessed to have another amazing nephew, I love kids, but I am no where near ready to have any of my own so I will stick with my nephews for now. I love to spoil them like crazy, although I don’t get to see Pierce as much, as Knolan but I love them both the same. They are amazing, and wonderful little boys, and they are lucky to have the parents, and family they do, and one day when they are older they will be able to realize that, they are too young right now. May 3 was Kahlia’s birthday she turned 15, I cannot believe how fast she is growing up, it feels like just yesterday she was born. She is now a sophomore in high school its so insane to me, to even think how old she is, I mean she will be driving next year… AHHHHH don’t worry we will warn everyone when she gets her license. She is really a pretty great girl, she is just extremely boy crazy, but hopefully that’s just a phase. She is a character. Levi turned 28 on May 18. We celebrated their birthdays, as well as Mother’s day with everyone at my Grandma’s house on May 12 I believe it was a crazy eventful day though, and I am so blessed and fortunate for my mother she is the best thing I could ask for well everyone in my family, but especially my mom, I love her so much, and I know I don’t say or show it enough, but I know she knows and that’s all the matters to me. My best friend Justin who I met in the Navy came to AZ for about three weeks for work, so while he was here, I went to Tucson to go visit him, and he came down here two weekends. It was so great to see him, I have known him for 6 years now, and I hadn’t seen him since I left VA, which was July 2007, so it was great to catch up with him. He got to come to the cabin with my family, and meet everyone it was a great time when he was here. I am suppose to go to New Hampshire to go see him in December, but we will see how everything goes I like to take it day by day.

June- Justin was still here, and we hung out with my family, and I took him and showed him around AZ, since he had never been here before. He left the first weekend of June, I was so sad to see him leave, but I knew it was coming, so I was a sad the first week or so, but I was ok after that. George Lopez was also in June. I went with Janea, someone who was or at least I thought was my best friend, that’s another story on its own. We went and had a great time he was HILARIOUS, and I would def go see him again. We went out to Dos in Chandler afterwards, and just like normal we ran into people from high school, but that’s so common there, as pretty much everyone goes there. We stayed the night at a friends house, and ended up spending pretty much the whole next day over there, it was so much fun though, I hadn’t seen her in about a month in half since then, so it was really good seeing her, and spending time with her. June 28 was Dominics birthday, he is like the only person in this family he doesn’t have to share the month of birthdays with, so we had a party for him at my Grandparents house.

July-I don’t believe anything significant happened in July but I could be wrong. Not sure when it was but Mel, Patrick, and I went to Grahams for some cheap drinks, and a fun night out for Mel since having the baby. It was a good time, def got a little tipsy, but it was a lot of fun. I believe this was also the month I went and hung out with a bunch of people I hadn’t seen since high school at Dos Gringos in Chandler. It was sooooooooo much fun catching up and hanging out with everyone. July 28 was my moms birthday we didn’t really do much for it until August.

August- August 1, 2009 we went out for Mels birthday, we went to Grahams, just wanted to go somewhere cheap, and easy. And that it was. We had so much fun, and got pretty drunk haha, not even meaning to, but its just how it happened. We left there about 11, and headed to Dos and drank some more haha, we ended up walking back to their house about 1 am I believe all in all it was a successful night, the next morning was Hunter, Melody, Mom, and Grandma’s birthday party at Grandma, and Grandpas.

I have a lot more I want to say but I am going to put them as separate posts over the week…
